News
Sadly we have to announce Manu’s departure from the band.
But maybe it's better if you read his personal statement:
Dear Black Diamonds Fan Club members, dear rock community,
Something I never thought possible in over 15 years is now becoming a reality: it is with a heavy heart that I am leaving Black Diamonds. This decision was not an easy one, and I have given it a great deal of thought.
I joined this wonderful circle of friends as their drummer in 2011, and over the years they have become like a second family to me. Since then, hardly a week has gone by without conversations, rehearsals, gigs, tours, recording sessions or simply spending time together. It has been a long and intense journey, and I wouldn’t want to have missed a single moment of it (well, ALMOST none… 😄). It has been an incredible privilege to perform the music we’ve written ourselves on such fantastic stages and in front of such a loyal audience. A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR THAT!
Most of all, I would like to thank Andi, Mich and Chris from the bottom of my heart, as well as our road crew Mäge, Carmela and Dalila, for this incredible journey: THANK YOU! You guys are amazing! ❤️
I’m not leaving the band for health reasons, nor because of “internal differences” or because we’ve “grown apart.” I’m leaving the band because I want to devote more time to my own family and spend more time with my two children. Unfortunately, the growing number of requests and commitments with Black Diamonds became increasingly difficult to reconcile with our family schedule. For me, the time has now come to reset my priorities.
That certainly doesn’t mean I’m putting down my drumsticks, though! I’ll be continuing my musical education (there’s still room for improvement 😉), and of course I’ll continue to offer drum lessons as well. At the moment, both of these are much easier to fit into my life than being a member of a band.
The show on November 21, 2026 at Black Point Oberriet will also be my farewell party. I’m really looking forward to celebrating with all of you one more time and having the chance to say a proper goodbye.
I wish all of you and Black Diamonds nothing but the very best for the future. Take care, and see you around!
Salut, Adios, Fazzoletti!
Manu
We wish Manu all the very best for the future and would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for the many wonderful years we have shared together.

On Friday, November 20, 2026, our new album LIVE IN PARADISE will be released on CD, vinyl and digitally! 🤘
The name says it all: LIVE IN PARADISE brings the raw energy of a Black Diamonds show straight to your home – live and loud!
The album captures songs from our last two albums the way they come alive on stage – raw, powerful and with a slightly different feel than the studio versions.
We wanted to capture what we’ve been doing on stage over the past two years – not only for ourselves, but also to share that feeling with all of you. LIVE IN PARADISE was made for our fans, but it’s also a snapshot of where Black Diamonds are right now.
We’re happy to have Metalapolis Records by our side once again for this release. 🔥

The holiday season has always been something special for us – we love the calm moments, the togetherness, and the unique atmosphere that only this time of year brings. That’s why we’ve wanted to write our own Christmas song for a long time, of course in true BLACK DIAMONDS Rock N' Roll style.
On December 5th it’s finally happening – our new single will be released.
